Botanica Luxury Villas “ The Valley” : Design brief and site considerations

Botanica Luxury Villas “ The Valley” is a project no. 7th from Botanica luxury villas company. Project located on Phuket island (Thailand) near Laguna Golf Club on the hillside with 360 degree mountain view and far sight sea view in a green natural atmosphere.

Client’s program is to create 14 units luxury pool villas on 8 Rais (12,800 sqm.) in 3 different types from 4 bedrooms to 6 bedrooms and fully furnished. Market price list will start from 1.5 – 4 million usd. 

The project will be the flagship, highest product from Botanica villas in the tropical modern style and must be different and outstanding from other products in the market.

Concept design “more curve more sexy” was inspire by mountain view and surrounding, mountain outline has the curve and smooth continues line. We want to create the shape of the building into a curve with continuous line start from the front of the house to the back. Recess of concrete curve for shade and shadow when the sun shine on the skill of the building make the house have more characteristic, have cantilevered roof ( 4.5m.) protect living area from the sun in hotter day and create semi outdoor area space.

Al through character of the building seem in modern style but planning and detail is still use criteria from Southeast Asian tropical climate to make people who living in get the comfort zone and low efficiency consumption ( use ceiling fan and stay more on outside area )
